Update FuelTech Vision Software | V1.40 | FT700 & FT700PLUS - Drag & Road Racing Packages

FuelTech is excited to announce the new update of the FuelTech Vision Software v1.40 — now with cutting-edge Drag and Road Racing packages, plus over 100 new features, enhancements, and performance improvements.

 

NEW ADDITIONS

    • GearController for Drag Racing (GCM)

    • CO2 BoostController 1 and 2 for Drag Racing

    • Management of multiple cars with shared maps and individual settings (segmented map option sends only selected parts of the map and specific settings that you want to replicate on multiple cars, without having to redo the entire map)

    • Alerts

      • Target boost not reached – reduced power

      • CAN Communication failure

      • Engine RPM signal failure

      • Low pressure on hydraulic steering assist

      • Egate target alert now has minimum TPS condition

      • Low compressed air pressure

      • O2 closed loop correction limits

      • Output diagnostics added to the log

      • Individual current protection function per channel with maximum current (Amps) setting, validation time and reset parameters

      • Automatic output rearm for overcurrent, short circuit and overheating

      • Option to use any pressure sensor as target boost for eGate control

    • Electronic blow off control: new option for pedal or throttle actuation

    • Interactive calibration of the analog gear position sensor

    • New widgets for the instrument panel with alerts, errors and indications of solutions

    • CAN FD Network Baudrate configuration

    • Option to use the main fuel map during cranking (per fuel injection bank)

    • Option to use individual fuel trim per cylinder during cranking

    • Option to choose which injector bank O2 closed loop fuel compensation operates on

      • Increased number of decimal places in the table

      • Ability to add and remove gear lines in control tables

    • Button inputs now have minimum activation time setting (debounce)

    • Internal MAP sensor calibration

    • Logic for changing to internal or external MAP sensor due to failure (MAP fallback)

    • Options for individual configuration of each main fuel map by pressure sensors in addition to MAP and TPS

    • Idle compensation by electric fan, air conditioning and automatic transmission

    • Internal datalogger

      • Added options to insert the car number, driver, and/or track in the log file name  

      • Software no longer allows opening PC log and map in software version older than the files

      • VCU firmware version now saved in the log

      • Improvement in the logic for listing VCU files

      • Option to segment log into smaller files (by time or size)

      • Buttons to download last log, download all and delete all logs

    • Fuel Injection time channel of Tertiary (bank C) in the log

    • Configuration of the yellow outputs in H-Bridge automatically adjusted in the calibration

    • Automatic transmission: transition between solenoids

    • Internal datalogger

      • Correction for downloading large log files

      • Fix to save log settings and channel ordering;

      • Note: when sending a map with a different version (between Vision software and FT700) the log settings go to default. From then on, the settings are maintained whenever saving/sending between the same versions

    • Anti-Lag function

    • Fuel consumption now retained when restarting the VCU

    • Low load smoothing of the O2 closed loop

    • Operation of the transbrake output in burnout mode

    • Log data export in .csv format

    • Axis inversion on the individual trim per cylinder
