This fusion of maximum rigidity with minimal weight is crucial for top-tier performance. Consequently, we've resized the new housing while retaining the 7-inch, very high-resolution screen. The new FT700 case now measures 8.6 inches in width, 5.4 inches in height and 3.3 inches in depth, as opposed to its previous dimensions of 8.6 inches x 6.2 inches x 3.3 inches, respectively. This 0.8-inch reduction in height has made a significant difference, facilitating installation in a broader range of vehicles. It transforms the FT700 into an excellent alternative when the FT700PLUS is impractical due to its size.
The refinement in the dimensions of the FT700 housing enhances VCU installation in various configurations, especially when users opt to replace the vehicle's original instrument panel with the modern FT700 VCU. Moreover, the new case is modular with a removable front fairing and standardized front and rear fixing systems, broadening the range of applications for the VCU. Whether integrated into systems with superimposed or built-in installations, the contemporary design and exquisite finish of our VCUs seamlessly blend with a diverse array of vehicles and purposes.
As part of this updated packaging, we've introduced a new and advanced cooling system for the high-performance hardware within the FT700 VCU, developed by FuelTech. This system now boasts fully machined and anodized billet aluminum components, ensuring exceptional heat dissipation efficiency and superior stability and performance, even under the most demanding conditions.
